NOT A RACE.
The flag falls. The points stay. Every race is a round of a championship against the same rivals, so the next race always matters. The Daily Challenge hands you a new circuit and new weather every day, with gold targets set by each circuit’s corners. Wet days mean less grip.
Meet the names in your mirrors- #4 TorqueRuns the club nights. Blocks the inside, hates being passed on the outside.
- #11 EchoThe veteran. Sits in your wake and slingshots at the last corner.
- #23 BlazeLast season's rookie of the year. Dives for gaps that aren't there.

BUILT NATIVE.
NO GAME ENGINE.
Swift, SceneKit, Metal and SwiftUI, by one developer. No third-party engine between you and the car.
Fixed-Step Physics
Most mobile racers tie physics to the screen's refresh. Velocity Unleashed runs the car on its own fixed 240 Hz clock, with Pacejka tyre friction, so grip, slides and kerbs feel the same on every device.
60 & 120 FPS ProMotion
SceneKit on Metal, at up to 120 FPS on ProMotion displays. Wet roads shine in the rain, lightning cracks over stormy laps, and rain beads on the lens.
Engine Sound & Commentary
Layered engine audio follows your revs, rivals flash past with a Doppler sweep, and a race commentator calls the moments that matter.
Slipstream & Close Passes
Tuck into a rival's wake to cut drag and slingshot past. Every close pass is tracked, and boost pads on track reward the right line.
Touch, Tilt or Controller
Drive with the on-screen pedals and steering pad, steer by tilting your device, or pair a PlayStation DualSense, Xbox or MFi controller.
No Tracking
No advertising profiles, no analytics SDKs in the app. The App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected.
BEHIND THE SPEED.
THE ENGINEERING JOURNAL.
The decisions, the experiments and the details behind a native racing game.

Engineering Pure Sound: Real-Time Engine Audio Synthesis & Spatial Acoustics with AVAudioEngine
How we built Velocity Unleashed's procedural 3-layer engine sound synthesis, 4-band dynamic EQ sweeps, acoustic tunnel reverb, and low-latency spatial Doppler audio in pure Swift using Apple's AVAudioEngine.

Multiplayer Game Engineering with iOS GameKit: Real-Time Networking, Dead Reckoning & Zero-Server Racing
How we built low-latency real-time 60 FPS multiplayer racing in Velocity Unleashed using Apple GameKit (GKMatch), compact 32-byte binary telemetry, and Cubic Hermite dead reckoning.

240Hz Pure Swift Physics: Engineering a Deterministic Mobile Racing Engine
How we engineered a 240Hz fixed-step simulation loop, Pacejka magic formula tire friction, slipstream vortex aerodynamics, and sub-millisecond Swift 5.9 vector physics on Apple Silicon.
Is Velocity Unleashed free to play on iPhone and iPad?
Yes. Velocity Unleashed is free to download, and your first ten races are free, up to five of them multiplayer. A one-time Full Game Unlock removes the race limit for good. Optional extras include the Paddock Club VIP pass, which doubles race cash and XP, the Hypercar & Formula Pack and Crew Cash. There are no ads.
What devices and iOS versions are supported?
Velocity Unleashed needs iOS 17.0 or iPadOS 17.0 or later, and runs on Mac with macOS 14 or later. It runs at 60 FPS on supported iPhones and iPads and at up to 120 FPS on ProMotion displays.
Does Velocity Unleashed support game controllers?
Yes. Pair a PlayStation DualSense, Xbox Wireless or MFi controller in iOS Settings > Bluetooth and it works straight away. You can also drive with touch or tilt steering.
How does multiplayer work?
Race friends nearby over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with no internet needed, find drivers online with Game Center Quick Match, or start a party and send friends the code or invite link.
Is Velocity Unleashed built with Unity or Unreal Engine?
No. It is built natively in Swift with Apple SceneKit, Metal and SwiftUI, on its own 240 Hz physics engine, with no third-party game engine.
